The utility is designed to back up and restore SQL databases for the Central File Room if your existing backup software does not have a SQL Backup Agent. It does not back up workpapers.

Note: The utility will allow you to restore the record for a single binder. If you use a SQL agent you will have to restore the entire Central File Room database.  It is preferable that you use the Backup and Restore Utility and then back up the files created with your existing backup software. To setup a scheduled task to run the backup automatically, see How do I setup a scheduled task to run the CCH ProSystem fx Engagement Database Backup & Restore Utility.
