How do I run workstation install for Practice Management?

For Workstation Setup to succesfully install you may have to disable the Antivirus and Firewall during the workstation setup processTerminal Server Environment:

  • Log in as the Admin Profile
  • Open "Add Remove Programs"
  • Browse to the ...\cpas\setup\vpm\setup.exe
  • Click Run
  • Accept the Licensing Agreement
  • Required will be checked DO NOT select Remote
  • Click Install

Workstation Environment

  • Browse to the ...\cpas\setup\vpm\workstation
  • Click on theProSystem fx Practice Management Icon
  • Accept the Licensing Agreement
  • Required will be checked .... If you are on a desktop,  DO NOT select Remote.  If you are on a Laptop that leaves the network and not use a VPN to access the server then select Remote.
  • Click Install
