How do I install Open Integration Kit (OIK)?
Prerequisite:
Installation steps:
- Authorize the use of the developer tools in CCH Axcess Dashboard and download the Integrator ID File.
- How do I install Open Integration Kit (OIK) Integrator ID File?
- The Open Integration Kit is treated as an installed product.
- In order to reinstall Axcess, the OIK version files must be uninstalled as part of the uninstall process.
- To avoid a potential issue, copy the OIK files to another location and then uninstall the Kit via the Install and Update Manager.
Installation steps:
- Launch the CCH Axcess Install and Update Manager.
- Click on "Developer Tools" on the left.
- Pick which version of the ProSystem fx Open Integration Kit you would like to install. (Multiple versions can be installed.)
- Click Install at the top.
- The installed files default location can be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\WK\ProSystem fx Open Integration Kit\
- Recommended optional steps.
- Note: The kit is an installed product of the Axcess suite. In the event that the full Axcess Suite needs to be uninstalled, the kit would need to be uninstalled. Following the optional steps allows the copied kit files to be detached from the Axcess Suite installation so they can persist in the event of an uninstall of the software suite.
- Go to the installed kit location, C:\Program Files (x86)\WK\ProSystem fx Open Integration Kit\
- Copy the open integration kit VersionXX.X folder and paste it to another location for usage.
- Do not delete the kit folder or contents from the default location. If the kit needs to be uninstalled in the future, the uninstaller will fail.
