How do I create an Organizer using My1040Data for a client that I have not created a return for?

  1. Go to Process.
  2. Click Create an Organizer for a New Client.

Notes:

  • There you will need to enter the Taxpayer's name, a User ID and password.  These fields are required in order to produce the Organizer.  Office Group and preparer are optional fields that can be filled. 
  • The User ID does not have to match what you are going to use tax.
